The players take turns to reveal one of their cards and put it on the common discard pile. When laying down a card, the player must name the motif that matches the color of the card they have laid down: If it is a red card, they must say strawberry, if it is a blue card, they must say elephant, if it is a yellow card, they must say banana and if it is a brown card, they must say cocoa. The Schnattergei is a special card. If a player puts down a chattering geeze, he does not have to name the motif that matches the color of the chattering geeze, but instead repeats what the previous player said. If the same motif is put down on the discard pile twice in a row (doubling), everyone hits the discard pile as quickly as possible. Whoever was quickest wins all the cards put down. The game ends when a player has put down their last card and does not manage to win the discard pile in the same round. Whoever has the most cards at the end of the game wins.
