The F-15 Eagle is a heavy fighter of American air superiority, designed for operation in all weather conditions. It was developed as a rapid response to the development of Soviet MIG-25 aircraft. It has been produced since the early seventies, with over 1,200 units produced to date. The armament includes the M61A1/A2 20mm Vulcan multi-barrel cannon and an extensive arsenal of hovering air-to-air and air-to-ground missiles. The aircraft is also perfect for precise firing at targets. It can carry free-fall, laser, TV, GPS and cluster bombs.
It has repeatedly demonstrated its high combat effectiveness in the Middle East. In the United States, it has been replaced by newer machines. It is still in service with the traditional allies of the United States, including Israel, Saudi Arabia, South Korea and Japan.
The F-15 Eagle aircraft model was developed entirely from COBI bricks. The use of up to 590 elements made it possible to faithfully recreate the characteristic shape in a 1:48 scale model.
The model was finished with high-quality prints that do not wear out even with intensive use. The aircraft was equipped with an opening cabin, movable rudders and ailerons. The model looks even better thanks to an elegant display stand with a plate with signature.
