COBI - construction blocks for fun at home. Also compatible with construction blocks from other manufacturers.
World War II - soldiers, vehicles and equipment from World War II depicted in great detail.
From a set of 720 COBI bricks, you will build the most famous of the Shermans - the JUMBO model M4A3E2, the Cobra King who was the first to invade the Belgian city of Bastogne. The model contains elements covered with high-quality prints that do not wear out even with intensive use. The very characteristic graffiti of the tank crew is particularly noteworthy. The design perfectly reflects the original shapes of its historical model. Movable wheels and tank tracks, opening hatches, access to a block engine, movable turret and barrel, and two figures guarantee the satisfaction of owning this set inspired by true history! The whole thing is rounded off by a plate with the name of the vehicle.Sherman Jumbo is a large collector's set, just right for people who have experience in building more complex sets. A must for military and history lovers.Build a story, block by block!
The Sherman M4A3E2 Jumbo is a short series of well-armored tanks of only 254 units. The Shermans were armed with a 75 mm cannon mounted on a modified M62 mount. The Jumbo, with its own name Cobra King, was the one that received both the 76 mm gun and the coaxial machine gun. It was issued to the 37th Tank Battalion of the 4th Panzer Division at the end of October 1944 and was the tank of the commander of Comrades C. The tank became famous during the German offensive in the winter of 1944 in the Ardennes. It was the first to break through the German lines and reach the soldiers of the 101st Airborne Division, who were surrounded in Bastogne, Belgium. In memory of this momentous event, the crew of the tank painted a special graffiti, which was reproduced by the COBI with permanent prints. The further fate of the tank is no less exciting. Some sources say the tank took part in General Patton's secret mission, Operation Hammelburg, where it was destroyed in March 1945. For many years, the wreckage of the tank was displayed on war memorials under false markings. It was not until 2001 that military chaplain Keith Goode helped uncover the true story of an anonymous wreck. The tank was carefully restored at the Patton Museum and is now located at Fort Benning, Georgia. Meanwhile, a neatly painted replacement for the famous Sherman King Cobra has been installed in Bastogne, Belgium.
