The VW Type 166 Schwimmwagen is an extremely popular German floating off-road vehicle. Its production falls on the years 1942-1944. The amphibious vehicle was equipped with a tight, streamlined body, four-wheel drive for off-road driving and a turbine that allows it to move in water. In total, over 14,000 units of this vehicle were produced.
From 200 COBI building blocks you can build a floating VW Type 166 Schwimmwagen military car. The detailed vehicle is accompanied by a figure of a German Luftwaffe soldier equipped with a Mauser rifle and a forage cap with a print. The whole set is completed by a plate with the name of the vehicle.
The Schwimmwagen is an ideal element for building scenes and historical dioramas recreating any European front of World War II. It is also the perfect complement to the COBI Strategy Battle game. The manual includes a visualization of the game map with vehicle statistics.
