The Eichhorn Mikado game should be played on a surface that is as flat and smooth as possible, e.g. asphalt or tiles. The first player gathers all the sticks together and places them on the floor. Then he suddenly lets go and all the sticks are now lying in a mess on the floor. Now the player tries to remove one stick after the other without moving the other sticks. Depending on your skill, there are different methods for this, such as simply removing them, carefully rolling them away, pulling them out or setting them up. To do the latter, press on the pointed end of a stick. If a second stick wobbles when you take a stick out, the game is stopped. The remaining sticks are collected and the next player tries his luck. After a predetermined number of rounds, e.g. 5, the player whose sticks have the highest total score wins. If two players are tied, the one with the most sticks wins. The Mikado game is a party game and a game of skill that can be played with children aged 3 and over.
