In Germany, almost 50 children fall out of windows or balconies every year and suffer serious or fatal injuries. Often just a few moments are enough: a car horn, birds chirping or children playing draw the child's attention outside. If the little ones are then unattended for a brief moment, they climb onto the windowsill, open the window and, in the worst case, lose their balance. The children affected are usually between 1 and 3 years old. With the new reer "WinLock" window lock, children are not in danger of being able to open a window on their own. It is neither screwed nor glued, but is fixed between the handle and the frame with simple hand movements.
