The simple yet expressive wooden figures from the Cudly Wudly series made from fine-pored maple wood all have cuddly, soft fur. Reduced to the essentials and with their clear shapes, the animals are very decorative in the children's room. Thanks to their rounded edges, the figures fit well in the hand. The characteristic fur band, which can be easily removed as desired using an elastic band and swapped with similarly sized animals, gives the toy its unique feel.
The hippo, which is around 15 x 9 x 2.6 cm in size and has a cord as a tail, has a fur band made of beige-gray microplush. The hippo is ready for use in imaginative role play: This is an important part of a child's development. Children like to act out stories with toy figures and can thus process experiences from their childhood. This promotes creativity and imagination and trains language skills. The plush fur can be washed at 30° C on a gentle cycle; due to its small size, we recommend using a laundry bag. The wooden figure should be cleaned with a damp cloth. The animals made of FSC-certified wood are made by hand, which is why there may be small deviations in the shape of the figures. For our children's toys, we only use water-based varnishes, tested according to the European standard for toy safety EN71. The wooden toy is recommended for children aged 3 and over.
