The instruments manufactured in the factory of guitar maker Pinto Carvalho have impressed with their high quality and good sound from the very beginning. But the playability and appearance of these guitars are also impressive right from the start.
Each instrument begins its life with the selection of a suitable piece of wood from the company's own wood warehouse. Spruce, cedar, walnut, sapele, ovangkol and mahogany are the main woods used in construction.
With the instruments in the 1000 series, Carvalho has taken an unusual approach and relies on laminated guitar tops. After extensive experiments, he has succeeded in producing laminated tops that can compare in sound with a (far more expensive) solid top. We have included the waxed version of the 1000 series in our range because we believe that the natural look and the particularly pleasant feel of these instruments will be one of the big upcoming trends.
By combining the latest machines with the craftsmanship of traditionally trained guitar makers, we create instruments that are unrivaled in this class.
