The game Beasty Bar is attracting more and more animals to the red carpet in front of the legendary bar. With New Beasts in Town, twelve more "beasts" can now be seen there. These new animals can be combined with the "regulars" of the Beasty Bar as desired. As a result, New Beasts in Town can be played both as a standalone game and together with all the other animals of the Beasty Bar - including the promotional card "Tasmanian devil" and all the animals that will be added in the future.
Following the popular rules of the Beasty Bar, in the new game each player has 12 animals (cards) that they want to bring into the BEASTY BAR. The two animals at the front of the queue are allowed in as soon as a queue of five animals has formed at the bar entrance. At the same time, the animal at the back of the queue is removed from the queue.
The 'New Beasts' bring even more dynamism, situational comedy and sophistication to the game with their clever feints. For example, vultures can bring guests who have already been thrown out of the gutter back into the crowd. Tigers jump over even larger animals to keep unwanted guests away from the entrance. However, porcupines are not suitable as a landing place, because attackers flee from this creature as if they had been stung by a tarantula.
New Beasts in Town expands the gaming and thematic spectrum of the Beasty Bar many times over. The high-end quality of the playing cards has been maintained without sparing any expense. The illustrations by Alexander Jung are also an iconic feast for the eyes in this edition.
