The game box is the castle. That's where the game is played. The players' mice start from the four castle battlements at the corners. First, the players lift the roofs, discover treats there and try to guide two of their own rodents to cheese symbols of the same type. To make it easier for themselves and a little more difficult for the other players, each player can also move the floor and the holes in it, which can send some mice tumbling into the castle cellar.
Whoever completes his cheese collection becomes the future rodent castle lord and wins the game.
The successful game designers Jens-Peter Schliemann and Bernhard Weber came up with the funny castle spectacle. Illustrator Victor Boden has created a particularly atmospheric setting for the cheese castle in beautiful and funny pictures.
• Age recommendation: from 6 years
• Number of players: 2 to 4
• Playing time: 30 minutes
• Author: Jens-Peter Schliemann and Bernhard Weber
• Illustration: Victor Boden
• The castle owner, Gregor Gonzola, left his collection of delicious cheeses on his property. Now, nimble rodents scurry through the soft walls to fill their hungry mouths
• The floor at Appenzell Castle is moving - and it's not just the cheese that has holes in it. This paradisiacal gourmet temple quickly becomes the world's largest mousetrap
• On each turn, players try to move two of their own mice to fields of the same type of cheese
• Only those who lead their own four rodents through the corridors with a sure instinct and a good memory become impostors. For everyone else, it's all over!
• A wonderful children's and family game that captivates young and old
Contents: 1 castle vault with holes, 34 sliding tiles, 1 double-sided grid game board, 18 roofs, 28 collector tiles, 4 tower battlements
