The invisible becomes visible when 2-4 deep-sea explorers aged 8 and over track down the legendary pearls of Poseidon. Only the most modern stamping technology makes it possible to unlock the secrets of the seabed. First, fragments of the outlines of mystical objects shimmer in a blurred sea blue. Then, with the help of treasure maps, the players decipher the exact positions and names of the pearls - and are showered with Poseidon thalers as a reward for their optical puzzle solving.
The game is played on the nautograph - the most important tool for an underwater treasure hunter. It is a frame in which a template unknown to the players is located under a gridded sheet of paper. The treasure hunters take turns choosing a coordinate and use the stamp to make parts of a secret underwater world visible. Step by step, with each stamp impression, the secret of Poseidon's trench is revealed a little more.
Every contour that can be seen on the sea floor reveals the location where a pearl was found. Two treasure maps show exactly where the pearls are located next to their object. They can also be used to decipher the names of the pearls. Anyone who proves to be particularly astute when it comes to finding pearls and researching names will leave Posedion's deciphered site as the winner with the most Poseidontals.
